The
Nationalpark Hohe Tauern is a journey back to the roots. With over 1.836 km², it is the largest nationalpark in Europe and ranges from the central alps to the west of austria.
The style of the landscape is characterized by the highest mountains in austria, impressing glaciers, rushing mountain streams and idyllic mountain pastures.
About 1.000 kinds of animals, such as marmots, charmoises or eagles live among this pure nature.
